Add Transaction - Register Voucher

This accounting software developed by LiteBreeze India in PHP/MySQL supports multiple books and currencies allowing you to store several books in one application.

This part of the web application, add transaction, is easily accessible as its the most frequently used page. Something which makes this application very powerful is that a transaction can be assigned to one or many object codes such as a cost center, entity (customer, supplier etc).

The object code types can be dynamically added through the application. E.g., if your company has got multiple offices, a cost center for each office can be created to allow for expense reports to be generated office-wise.

When paying rent for an office, you'll select the object code for that office. This way you can obtain very detailed information on expenses and revenue in reports.

The LiteBreeze India team has built in multi-currency and exchange rate features which allow you to register transactions in foreign currency and keeping the value in the foreign currency saved (not shown in screenshot).

Each voucher is assigned a unique voucher series number depending on the accounts involved in the transaction. Voucher series such as bank in, bank out, cash in, cash out, invoice, journal etc are set up. Voucher series are reset for each new fiscal year. A voucher can be cancelled, but it will keep its unique voucher series number and it cannot be deleted. The system will also store the name of the person who registered the voucher. All this allows for tracability.
