2020 has been a really tough year for people, countries, and the world as a whole. However, the unrelenting human spirit and resilience helped us survive this storm together and end the year on a high note.
As part of our continual CSR activities during these trying times, LiteBreeze lent a helping hand to one of Kerala’s best charity foundations, the Hope community village.
Hope Community Village offers long term family care to abandoned children. They provide them a loving home with a surrogate family, education, and opportunities; otherwise not available to them.
LiteBreeze became the single biggest donor to the village in 2020 with a handsome monetary donation, as stated by the Hope village CEO Mr. Santhiraj.
Hope used the fund to get multiple tablet computers for each home in the village and built two waste compost units accessible to the whole village.
As a token of appreciation, the Hope community invited LiteBreeze to a private inauguration event.
Ajith Dinesan, our Project Director, distributed the tablet computers to the children of the Hope community. He asserted on a long-term collaboration with the community.
He remarked about the striking similarities between the intricate yet simple management system at the village with the values and policies LiteBreeze has been advocating for years.
The children of the Hope community performed the “Kim Kim dance” for us. This video went viral on their Facebook page a couple of weeks back.
We hope this gesture marks the beginning of a bright and wonderful year ahead for the hope community village and all our fellow beings. We will strive to continue giving back to our community and make a difference in the lives around us.
